Olympique Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has hinted he could've moved to Manchester City last summer.

City offered €50m for the France international in August, but Ndombele ultimately chose to stay.

He recalled to Canal Football Club: "I could have left, maybe it would have gone well. But the club had a firm position, they did not want me to leave.

"And neither did I feel ready to leave. I think it was the best decision for me.

"I play a lot of games and I managed to get into the France team, it goes well."
