Olympique Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir has paid tribute to former teammate Alexandre Lacazette.

Lacazette left OL for Arsenal last summer before being replaced by former Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz.

Fekir said: "He had made some appearances with Real, he was the unknown when he arrived, nobody knew what he was worth but he showed that he could replace Alex Lacazette even if what Alex did here, was remarkable and nobody will forget it.

"He has been able to replace him, he is decisive on the field, he is making efforts, it is good to have him with us. He makes a lot of effort, a lot of pressing, he is rewarded, he scores a lot, he has to continue like that."
