Lyon sporting director Juninho admits Fulham loan star Joachim Andersen wants to stay at the English club.

The 24-year-old has been excellent for the Cottagers since arriving on loan from Lyon in October.

He was even given the team's captaincy after a few games by manager Scott Parker.

Juninho admits if Fulham avoid the drop, Andersen will want to sign for them permanently.

He said, per The Sun: "I think he will want to extend his adventure in the Premier League.

"He has played well at Fulham, and if he wants to come back, we will welcome him with open arms."
