Olympique Lyon coach Rudi Garcia is reviving his long-term interest in wantaway Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
Garcia agrees with OL president Jean-Michel Aulas' pursuit of the veteran centre-forward, who has admitted he's likely to leave Stamford Bridge next month.
L'Equipe says Garcia tried to sign Giroud two years ago when in charge of Olympique Marseille as the Frenchman was leaving Arsenal. OM ended up signing Valère Germain and Kostas Mitroglou as alternatives.
Just this week, Giroud declared: "France is one of the solutions.
"There is a good chance that there will be change because I do not have enough time to express myself.
"I have my sights on the Euros. I am focused on this objective and I will do everything to get there."
