Manchester City risk losing Yangel Herrera in the New Year.

Currently on-loan in the MLS with New York City FC, Herrera has caught the eye of European rivals.

Don Balon says Olympique Lyon are showing major interest in the young attacker and are weighing up making a January bid.

However, should City move Herrera to Europe, he is likely to be placed in Spain.

City are expected to send the midfielder on-loan to Girona for the second-half of the European season.
