Lyon captain Nabil Fekir admits 'knee talk' saw his move to Liverpool last summer collapse.

Fekir was all set to sign for the Reds before medical issues saw Liverpool pull out of the deal.

"My aborted transfer to Liverpool? There was a lot of talk about my knee," he revealed to Telefoot.

"As I say, the knee is fine. It's like that, it's life, we have to move on. It's part of a career.

"You must work even harder."
