Lyon attacker Memphis Depay has welcomed interest from Liverpool.

Liverpool are watching Depay this season in the event they lose Real Madrid target Sadio Mane.

L'Equipe says the former Manchester United winger is ready to leave OL this summer for "a higher level".

Depay moved to OL from United for €16m and the French giants are seeking €30m to sell.

The 25 year-old's deal runs to 2021.
