Lyon ace Memphis Depay has upset his former Manchester United fans by celebrating Liverpool's Champions League final triumph.

Depay took to the social media site after Liverpool won their sixth European Cup with a 2-0 win over Tottenham in Madrid.

Despite having spent nearly two years at Old Trafford between 2015-2017, Depay clearly sees no issue with complimenting their rivals, and he picked out his Dutch team-mates Gini Wijnaldum and Virgin van Dijk for praise.

Posting on his Instagram and Twitter pages Depay said: "So proud of @GWijnaldum and @VirgilVanDijk on winning the @ChampionsLeague, y'all did it!!! Now let's bring them winning ways to Portugal as we go again on Thursday @OnsOranje"
