Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has recalled youngster Regan Poole from national duty with the Wales U19 team ahead of the Europa League clash with Liverpool.
The 17-year-old, who made his senior debut for United in the Europa League game against FC Midtjylland at Old Trafford recently, is set to be part of the squad that will travel to Anfield for the first leg of the last-16 tie on Thursday.
A statement from the Welsh FA said: "Manchester United defender Regan Poole has been withdrawn from the Wales squad due to club commitments as his club prepares to face Liverpool in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, 10 March."
