Luton midfielder Lokonga retains Arsenal hopes

Arsenal loanee Albert Sambi Lokonga has made it clear he wants to resurrect his career at the club.

The defensive midfielder is pending this season at Luton Town in the Premier League.

The Belgium international is currently out of action with a hamstring problem, but is hoping to return soon.

Lokonga, who has an Arsenal deal until 2026, stated: "That's the ideal scenario [returning to Arsenal] but let me focus on Luton.

“The next six months will decide my future at Arsenal and with the national team.

He then added, per The Mirror: "I don't know what my future at the club holds. I feel really good at Arsenal.

“We'll see what happens but as long as I'm under contract there, I will always fight to get back into the team. I still have contact with the Arsenal staff."
