Lukaku key as Chelsea boss Tuchel goes for £60M Man City attacker Sterling

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is eager to sign Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling - though some work is needed to get a deal done.

Chelsea are emerging as another possible destination for the former Liverpool star in a deal worth around £60million.

But any transfer is said to hinge on the futures of Romelu Lukaku and Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.

"Chelsea have explored conditions of the deal," reported Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

"No direct talks between Man City and Chelsea or bid yet.

"Depends on other deals like Lukaku, Ousmane and more."

Lukaku is in talks to leave for Inter Milan, while Dembele is available from Barca as he comes off contract.
