Yannick Bolasie has revealed that new Everton teammate Romelu Lukaku has been eager to get him to the club for a while.
The DR Congo winger joined the Toffees from Crystal Palace for £25million this week and has since disclosed Lukaku's desire to have his close friend at Goodison Park.
"I know Rom from ages ago, and he's been saying for ages to come here," said 27-year-old Bolasie.
"To be honest last year I probably wouldn't have been ready – but this year I feel I am.
"It's a big step for me, because I had got used to things at Palace and it's a club close to my heart.
"So it was a difficult decision but at the same time a no-brainer because I know about the players here and the quality they have."
Bolasie is unlikely to make his Everton debut in the weekend's clash with West Bromwich Albion having failed to reach full fitness since his move from South London.
