Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic says he's joined Fiorentina full of motivation.

The Serbia international has moved to Florence on a season-long loan.

Jovic said: “I hope I can fulfill all the expectations placed on me. I received many messages. It makes me happy that the supporters are happy that I am here.

"I will do everything to make them happy throughout the season and all the years here at the club.

"The fans can expect me to be 100% in every training and every game, working for the team and hopefully they can enjoy a lot of goals this season.

"There are quite a few players from the Serbian team here. Matija (Nastasic), Nikola Milenkovic, Aleksa Terzic. They have always said good things about this team. They told me about the coach, they told me that he was able to develop each member of the squad, the type of coach you dream of meeting in your career. So I decided to take the plunge.

“I love Italian football. It was also one of the reasons for my arrival and I hope it will be a good thing for me and the team. I think this year Serie A will be very interesting. There are many teams of the same level who will fight for the top of the table. And I hope that we too can take part in this struggle.

"I watched a lot of matches from last season. The team cracked a bit at the end of the season. And that's why I believe we're going to be able to get better results than last season."
