David Luiz claims that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is one of the best coaches he has worked with during his football career.

The Italian has enjoyed a superb debut season in England since becoming Chelsea's new manager in April, steering the club to their current position at the summit of the Premier League standings.

"He's one of the best coaches I've ever worked with," Luiz told ESPN Brasil. "He knows the characteristics of each player very well and we follow exactly what he tells us to do on the pitch.

"Conte is a coach who loves what he does and it infects all of us who love football.

"Every training session and every game is a manifestation of how winning and competing is important to him, so for us, the motivation to keep focused is always high."
