Luis Suarez proved the difference as Atletico Madrid won 2-1 at Getafe on Tuesday night.

Suarez came to the fore and showed why he is still one of the most clinical strikers in Europe on Tuesday evening, as he netted two goals in the last 12 minutes as Atletico Madrid beat Getafe 2-1 at the Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Stefan Mitrovic gave Getafe the lead just shy of the half-time whistle, before a horrible challenge by Carles Alena on Matheus Cunha saw Los Azulones reduced to 10 men in the 74th minute.

Then, a few minutes later, Luis Suarez scored to level the scores and set up a frantic end to the game.

Just as it seemed that the game was going to finish as a draw, Suarez appeared once again to secure all three points for Los Colchoneros.
