Luis Suarez will not be considered for any Barcelona preseason friendlies.

Marca says Suarez has been left out of Barcelona's friendly with Gimnastic de Tarragona on Saturday in another sign that he is being forced out of the club.

The Uruguayan - Barcelona's third-highest goalscorer of all time - has been largely training away from the rest of the group as new coach Ronald Koeman makes it clear that the 33-year-old does not feature in his plans.

Suarez wants to see out the final year of his contract, but Barcelona would rather move him on, and the marginalisation of the player in training, and exclusion from upcoming friendlies, is a tactic to try and make him back down.

Suarez has a pre-contract agreement with Juventus for a three-year deal, but if that doesn't come off he is understood to be prepared to remain with the Blaugrana until next summer.
