Former Atletico Madrid star Luis Garcia says his old club need to get their season back on track quickly.

Atletico have stumbled in the opening weeks of the season.

Garcia said, "We have a very strong Barcelona, a good Real Madrid also surprising because after Cristiano Ronaldo leaving everybody was worried about where would be Real Madrid without Cristiano Ronaldo, and I think they have done very well without having him on the field.

"With Atletico Madrid I was expecting a little bit more because probably with the new players arriving, as well as keeping the top players like Griezmann, Diego Costa, Oblak in the team we were expecting to launch. But Atletico Madrid is always like this, start slower and gets going as the season continues.

"And I like very much also the new teams in LaLiga Huesca, Valladolid and Vallecano have started very well, they show that they want to stay in LaLiga for many more years, So I think it's going to be a very interesting year."
