Luis Enrique and De la Pena due in London for Chelsea summit

Luis Enrique is due in London for talks over the vacant manager's job at Chelsea.

The former Barcelona and Spain coach is a free agent after leaving the La Roja job at the end of the World Cup.

Enrique has already held talks with Chelsea directors impressing them with his assessment of the squad.

The Independent says he successfully sold a clear vision for the team and is now due in London to meet with Chelsea chiefs face-to-face. He is expected to be accompanied by agent and former Barca teammate Ivan de la Pena.

Enrique, 52, explained his plan to establish a high-intensity system at Stamford Bridge, keen to utilise the young players in Chelsea's squad.

The former Barca striker announced only last week an ambition to return to management with a move to the Premier League.
