Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz was delighted to score in their Champions League win at Benfica.

The Reds took a 3-1 first-leg quarterfinal lead back to England last night.

Diaz said afterwards: "The goal I scored is very important because it gives us a good start.

"Now the most important thing is to rest. We know it's not over yet as Benfica is a very difficult opponent but we are ready to play any team in any match.

"Our team is now on the move, we know what kind of advantage we have, so we will be ready."
