Luis Diaz's camp have slammed claims he is seeking to leave Liverpool.
Rumours surfaced on Monday claiming that Diaz could be set to leave the Reds at the end of the season. The Colombia international is barely over 12 months into his life on Merseyside.
It was claimed by reports in Italy that AC Milan forward Rafael Leao was a player of interest to Jurgen Klopp. As a result, the article claimed that a deal could be made for Diaz to go to the San Siro, in order to lower the fee needed to sign Leao.
With rumours around Diaz's future doing the rounds, a new update has emerged from his homeland. Colombia-based journalist Pipe Sierra has explained the stance on Diaz's future as a Liverpool player.
Sierra was appearing on Colombian television Win Sports TV. The reporter stated that he had been in touch with Diaz's representatives to get a response to the rumours.
He said that he would censor what was put to him in the response, due to the nature of the reply. When asked for the essence of the answer, Sierra claims Diaz's team branded the rumour “a lie".
