Lucas Vazquez was delighted to be part of Real Madrid's victory over Eibar.

It was a landmark result for the wing-back - his 150th triumph in a Real shirt.

He said, "We come away quite happy. We knew that it was a going to be a difficult match and we came out from the first minute playing with a high intensity, knowing what we had to do to get the three points.

"With 18 minutes gone we were 2-0 up and with the match under control but their goal got them into the game. In the second half, although we did not have the same quality than in the first, they didn't cause us any major problems. It's always good for a footballer to play matches and to be able to help the team to get the wins. I'm pleased with that."

Vazquez added: “Pressing high up the pitch, showing plenty of movement when in possession and being composed on the ball and having the quality to play out from the back".
