Lucas Moura says he valued his time with Jose Mourinho at Tottenham.
The Roma coach admitted recently he felt no connection with Spurs given the way he was treated at the end of his spell there.
Moura, who is now leaving Tottenham, told AS: "I saw that statement from Mourinho, it's something very personal. He spent a short time at the club and it was the only club where he did not win any title.
"I don't know his relationship with the fans, the management of the club... It's something personal. For me it was a special stage that I will keep with affection. For everything I experienced at the club, for playing in the Premier League, with great players, for helping the team at important moments... I wanted to win a title and it was something that was missing in my time at Tottenham but I am fond of what has been built in the club."
