Former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz admits Arsenal icon Thierry Henry could've been a Madridista.

Henry eventually played in Spain with Barcelona, but could easily have been a Real Madrid star early into his career.

Sanz told Idolos: "I've kept the contract signed by Thierry Henry in the drawer.

"He played in Monaco, we convinced him and he signed the contract, but when we had him on the plane to come to Madrid, the father arrived and said he could not leave, that he was afraid, that the president of Monaco...
