Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui is under pressure going into this weekend's clash with Alaves.
After three consecutive games without a win and also failing to score in the process, Real president Florentino Perez is facing pressure from fellow board members to act.
It was expected Florentino would give Lopetegui until the end of October and the El Clasico against Barcelona before making a clear assessment.
However, Mundo Deportivo says some fellow directors want to bring forward the decision as their season risks slipping away. Anything but a win against Alaves this weekend could see Florentino act.
Lopetegui is enduring the worst start as coach of Real Madrid in the Florentino era.
