Lokomotiv Moscow are delighted with their deal for Tottenham defender Vedran Corluka.

The 26-year-old will link up with his erstwhile Croatia national team boss Slaven Bilic, who has been named as Lokomotiv's new manager.

Lokomotiv chief scout Kirill Kotov regards the signing as a coup for the Russian side.

"Vedran is one of the leaders of the Croatian national team," Lokomotiv's transfer chief told the club's official website.

"This is a versatile defender of the highest class."
