Loftus-Cheek insists Chelsea keeper Kepa improvement on Courtois in one aspect

Ruben Loftus-Cheek believes there are areas where Chelsea's new goalkeeper is better than Thibaut Courtois.

Kepa Arrizabalaga arrived from Athletic Bilbao for a world record fee, as the club had to pay his buyout clause.

While he is only 24 and still learning as a keeper, he has already shown his quality in keeping 11 clean sheets in 19 games.

And Loftus-Cheek believes he is very comfortable with the ball at his feet.

He said in an interview with the Evening Standard: "Kepa is not the tallest compared to Thibaut, but he is so good with his feet. It just makes you feel comfortable when he is in possession.

"It is what we need with the boss wanting us to play out from the back. He has been a really great addition."
