Ruben Loftus-Cheek admits he would take to have more appearances to his name, but the Chelsea midfielder is content with his career path.
The 22-year-old starred in his first loan spell last season at Crystal Palace. His performances earned a call-up to Gareth Southgate's England squad for the World Cup.
Loftus-Cheek is back having to fight for his place at Chelsea. But he doesn't have complaints.
Loftus-Cheek said: "Being 22 feels quite old, considering some of the boys were playing when they were 17 or 18.
"I'd like to have more appearances by now, but it's just the way my journey has gone, and I just have to be patient with it.
"I can see it as a positive; I'm playing for England, playing well when I play, and that's without too many appearances so it's still raw in that sense."
