The 22-year-old, who is on loan from Chelsea, has not played since December after he fractured his ankle.
He returned to Palace training this week for the first time on Monday and is now hopeful that he can return to action as soon as possible in order to help Palace avoid relegation from the Premier League
"I was a complete neutral in that game," he told www.eagles.cpfc.co.uk.
"It was very hard to see Palace lose but Chelsea were good on the day.
"But I was sat in the stands watching as a neutral."
