Jurgen Locadia will not have it easy as he tries to get back into the Brighton team.

The Dutchman was not in the squad for their 1-0 win over Huddersfield.

Given Florin Andone and Jose Izquierdo are back, there is a lot of competition for attacking spots at the club.

And his manager believes Locadia will have to prove his worth in training and grab the chances he does get.

Boss Chris Hughton revealed to The Argus: "I was always going to put Jose on the bench and Florin. Probably the decision I had to make was Solly or Jurgen.

"It was a close call. Between the two of them you are trying to anticipate how a game might go.

"There will be certain circumstances where we could do with Jurgen on the bench and certainly with Solly.

"But it was a very close call and he (Locadia) has been in and around it and played a lot of games."
