LOAN WATCH: West Brom young gun Wood at it again for Millwall

Chris Wood made it three goals in his last two outings as Millwall lost 2-1 at home to Barnsley on Saturday.

The West Bromwich Albion striker netted his 11th Championship goal since he joined the Lions on loan when he latched onto Dany N'Guessan's through ball to slot home past Tykes keeper Luke Steele in the 80th minute.

That goal tied it up for Millwall after Stephen Dawson had given Barnsley the lead after the half-hour mark but Marcus Tudgay produced an injury-time winner at The Den.

Millwall remained seventh on the second tier table as Barnsley stayed in the drop zone but recorded a first win in 12 outings.

Millwall were reduced to ten men when on-loan Tottenham defender Adam Smith was shown a straight red card in the 54th minute for a lunge on David Perkins.
