LOAN WATCH: Trio of Chelsea starlets, two Man City young guns feature in Eredivisie

A handful of Premier League clubs had loan players front and centre in the Dutch Eredivisie on the weekend.

Three Chelsea players, two from Manchester City and one from Watford all received game time in the second match day of the 2016/17 top flight season in Holland.

Talented Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore made his debut for Ajax, coming on as a second-half sub in their 2-2 home draw wth Roda JC, replacing Kasper Dolberg who scored a brace.

The Burkina Faso international, who impressed for Vitesse Arnhem during the past two campaigns, signed a season-long with Amsterdam giants Ajax last week.

Blues pair Nathan and Lewis Baker both started for Vitesse in their disappointing 2-1 home defeat to ADO Den Haag, making way for Mitchell van Bergen (62') and Mohammed Osman (87') respectively.

Brazilian midfielder Nathan, who has returned to the GelreDome for another 12-month stint, netted a brace on opening day against Willem II Tilburg last weekend while Baker, who is also back with Vitesse, played a full 90 minutes.

However, the pair did not have as much of an impact this time around as Henk Fraser's side went down to ADO.

Watford winger Steven Berghuis replaced Dirk Kuyt just after the hour-mark as Feyenoord beat FC Twente 2-0 in Rotterdam with Manchester City pair Yaw Yeboah and Enes Unal both featuring for the losing side.

Ghanaian teenager Yeboah started and played a full 90 minutes while Turkish young gun Unal replaced Jari Oosterwijk on 57 minutes.
