LOAN WATCH: Swansea's Bartley nets brace for Birmingham in win over Huddersfield

Swansea City defender Kyle Bartley scored a brace before being sent off in Birmingham City's 3-1 defeat of Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

Anthony Gerrard equalized for Huddersfield on the half-hour mark following Nikola Zigic's earlier goal before Bartley, who joined City on loan from Swansea in the summer, scored his first goal in the Championship.

The former Arsenal youngster he headed home from Manchester United loanee Jesse Lingard's in-swinging corner to put Birmingham ahead after 66 minutes.

With less than ten minutes remaining, Bartley put the result beyond doubt when he once again headed home a Lingard set piece. It would be his last touch of the game however as the former Arsenal man received his second yellow card of the game for over-celebrating.

Despite the sending off, it was an important win for Birmingham who is currently struggling in the Championship with 14 points from their first 15 games.
