LOAN WATCH: Norwich youngster Adeyemi nets in Brentford's FA Cup draw

Tom Adeyemi was on target for Brentford as they were held to a 2-2 draw by League Two Southend United in the third round of the FA Cup on the weekend.

The 21-year old midfielder, on loan from Norwich City, opened the scoring at Roots Hall in the 29th minute when he fired home from 12 yards before a Ryan Cresswell own-goal gave the Bees a two-goal advantage.

Southend were staring down the barrel of third round exit from the cup but rallied thanks to two headers from Barry Corr to set up a replay with their League One opponents.

The goal was Adeyemi's first for Brentford in 19 appearances in all competitions since joining from Norwich.
