Two loanees were on the scoresheet as Nottingham Forest produced a late winner to defeat Peterborough United 2-1 on the weekend.
Norwich City defender Elliott Ward, on his second loan spell with Forest this season, came up with the winning goal in the 83rd minute with a powerful header to give Alex McLeish his first victory as manager at the City Ground.
Greg Halford gave Nottingham a 28th minute lead before Scott Wootton, who joined from Manchester United last week, fired home from close range to level for the Posh on the hour-mark.
Wootton's United teammate Davide Petrucci also made his debut for Peterborough, playing a full 90 minutes for Darren Ferguson.
But in the end, it was the efforts of Ward which won through on the day as the Canaries defender grabbed the winning goal against the club he spent time on loan with back in 2004.
