Federico Macheda's second-half goal gave Doncaster Rovers their first win in seven games as they downed Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 on Saturday.
The Manchester United striker added his third goal of his loan spell when substitute James Coppinger curled a right footed cross to the far post to the open Italian who fired home past Wednesday keeper Chris Kirkland.
It was a valuable win for Doncaster as they move five points clear of the relegation zone in the SkyBet Championship.
