Manchester United's Federico Macheda scored twice in Doncaster Rover' 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest at the Keepmoat Stadium on the weekend.
The on-loan Italian, who came to prominence with the Reds in 2009, latched on to Theo Robinson's pass and struck the ball home from just inside the box after 34 minutes to open the scoring for Doncaster.
Forest had equalized through Chris Cohen five minutes later before Macheda put Rovers ahead once again in the 51st minute when he played the ball through for Richie Wellens who unselfishly returned the ball back to the wide opened Macheda for an easy finish.
However, Rovers were to be denied as Andy Reid netted a leveler with nine minutes remaining, undoing the brilliant early work of Macheda.
