LOAN WATCH: Fulham's Trotta nets in Brentford win

Marcello Trotta scored his first League One goal for Brentford as they beat Colchester United 3-1 on Boxing Day.

The 20-year old Italian striker, on loan from Fulham, opened his league account for the Bees just a week after netting a double in the FA Cup triumph over Bradford City.

Trotta grabbed an early opener for Brentford before Adam Forshaw made it 2-0 in the 12th minute prior to Drey Wright's 23rd minute goal for the U's. Harlee Dean then wrapped up the win in the 85th minute to send Brentford third on the tier three table.
