Crystal Palace co-chairman Steven Parish has revealed that plenty of clubs are showing interest in Jack Hunt.
The 23-year old defender is on a five-month loan with Nottingham Forest after the Championship club pursued him in the summer but opted not to purchase him outright when the two clubs could not agree a fee.
Parish has confirmed that there are clubs willing to pay more for Hunt now after impressing for Forest in the first few months of his loan but has indicated that Eagles boss Neil Warnock may look to recall him in January when his short-term spell expires.
"Prices in football change all the time. Forest showed some interest in August, and then decided not to do it," Parish told the South London Press of the full-back who joined Palace from Huddersfield Town for £2million last summer.
"Since then, we have had other bids for a lot more money. That's life. They should've taken the opportunity when they had it. Now we've got a different manager who has gone to see him play and likes him.
"I understand them (Forest) kicking themselves - we all do that from time to time - but I'm not here to hold a price and say 'come back when you feel it, no matter how he does or what anyone else wants to pay for him'.
"It's unfortunate for Forest because an opportunity existed at the time that doesn't exist anymore.
"I like (Forest boss) Stuart (Pearce) a lot - he's always been very nice to me - and I can understand him being a bit frustrated.
"I'm not sure if Neil wants to let Jack go. He wants to watch him. Forest have still got him and they are still doing well. I'm happy for him to be there - they are a good club."
