Chelsea youngster Jake Clarke-Salter did not enjoy the best of outings at the weekend.
He found himself sent off for loan club Sunderland as they battle to stay in the Championship.
Clarke-Salter received his marching orders after getting a second yellow card in the 60th minute of the game. He only recently made it back into the first team following a suspension for a previous red card.
His loan manager Chris Coleman was not too impressed, but said the incident was down to inexperience.
Coleman said to the Sunderland Echo: "It was inexperience. He's been rock solid.
"Saturday he wasn't – he was a little bit shaky and I don't know if that was again because he's young or if it was the pressure, but he looked a bit short, certainly at the start of the second half.
"He took a bang in the first half and that slowed him down a little.
"He made that mistake and it's another red card for him. We'll be missing him again for the foreseeable future."
