Glenn Murray sent Brighton & Hove Albion to third place on the Championship table on his birthday weekend.
The 33-year-old striker, who is back with the Seagulls on loan from AFC Bournemouth, helped himself to a brace as Chris Hughton's side defeated Barnsley 2-0 at the Amex Stadium a day before his birthday.
Murray's opener came in the 12th minute when he coolly controlled a pass from Beram Kayal before slotting beyond visiting keeper Adam Davies.
The veteran forward doubled Brighton's advantage three minutes into the second half when rising above a pack of defenders to head home Jiri Skalak's inwsinging free-kick.
In his second stint with Brighton, Murray has scored five goals in nine league outings.
