Juventus fear Nicklas Bendtner could be out of action for up to three months after injuring his groin/adductor on Wednesday night.
The Danish striker, on loan from Arsenal, had to leave the pitch prior to half-time in Juve's 1-0 Coppa Italia win over Cagliari and he may now be out until well into the New Year.
"Nicklas Bendtner has undergone an MRI scan and ultrasound that have revealed a lesion on his left adductor tendon," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The prognosis will become clearer after further examinations which the Danish striker will undergo in the coming days."
