Johan Djourou made his first start for Hamburger SV as the Bundesliga side managed to keep a clean sheet in their 4-0 win over Eintracht Braunschweig.
Following his loan signing from Arsenal in the summer, the Swiss international missed out on the start of the season as he recovered from groin surgery following an injury sustained during pre-season training camp in Austria.
Djourou lasted 72 minutes in his full debut for the 'Rothosen' and was a major factor for the Hamburg defence that managed their second clean sheet for the Bundesliga season.
