Sunderland loanee Jordan Pickford created history with a club-record equalling sixth consecutive clean sheet in Preston North End's 0-0 draw with Queens Park Rangers in the Championship.
The goalkeeper, who will join Gareth Southgate's England's U21s team during the international break, has now kept seven successive clean sheets for club and country,
Pickford's performances have also caught the eye of new Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce, who believes he is capable of becoming the Black Cats' first choice goalkeeper in the future.
"Hopefully Jordan will continue to do the job and that young man will be Sunderland's regular goalkeeper one day," Allardyce said.
"Whether it's under my time or not, time will tell."
Someone say 6 in a row?
