Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris admits they need to win a trophy.

Lloris says for the team to take the next step they need to win a title.

He told L'Equipe: "At the end of this season I have been here for seven years.

"That goes with trial and error, but if you summarise everything, I am very attached to Tottenham. I love this club and the people. If we won a prize, it would add extra luster.

"It cannot be compared to the period when I came to the club. To make everything even better, we have to win something."

Lloris continued: "We will soon have one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world and that is great. But that development must also be rewarded. We must all feel the ambition of this club. Our team includes top-level players who could play at any club. However, there is a risk that they will leave."
