Lloris starts as Pritchard nets double in Tottenham U21 win over Everton

Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris got through a full 90 minutes for the U21s on Monday afternoon.

The France international missed the season opener at Manchester United on Saturday after fracturing his wrist earlier in the summer.

Lorries managed some minutes late in the pre-season but was not passed fit to take on the Red Devils at Old Trafford with Michel Vorm taking the gloves for the 1-0 defeat.

However, there is good news for Spurs fans with Lloris starting and going the distance as the Ugo Ehiogu's U21s opened their season with a 4-1 win over Everton at the Training Centre.

Promising winger Alex Pritchard netted a double while Nathan Oduwa and Shaq Coulthirst were also on the scoresheet.

Lloris will now push for selection in Mauricio Pochettino's first team for Saturday's home meeting with Stoke City.
