Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris believes a first trophy under Mauricio Pochettino is becoming more difficult with every passing season.
"I would love to win a trophy here.
"That is my target but we are in the Premier League, which is the most competitive league in the world. It is becoming harder every season as clubs have the ability to spend a lot of money and buy very good players."
But Lloris insisted the next step was for the team to gain experience and win a trophy.
He told US broadcaster NBC: "We work so hard and we need to be rewarded.
"Maybe in the past it was good enough for Tottenham just to be a good team but the mentality has changed. We want to win. That is our ambition and motivation.
"You can see that the players have become men and are ready to compete with the best teams in England. The next level is to win a trophy all together."
