Tottenham club-captain Hugo Lloris has revealed his delight at deciding against leaving the club.
The French international is regarded as one of the World's finest shot-stoppers and after a series of fine performances, he admitted that he was considering his future away from the north London club in 2014 after receiving offers to play for big-name clubs across Europe.
He said: "From the first moment I believed in Pochettino, and that's it.
"I was right at the time. It was my feeling when I met him. Now I just enjoy the football we play. Sometimes in football, you live great moments, and you live some sad moments.
"But there is a great potential in the squad, a great project in our club, and I am looking forward to see this development. I try my best to help the team and the club to develop too."
Lloris delivered an heroic performance to help Spurs claim a creditable 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in a Champions League clash on Wednesday.
