Leeds United defender Diego Llorente admits his first season in England has been an eye opener.
The Spain international joined in the summer from Real Sociedad.
He told Marca: "It is totally different to watch the Premier League on television and actually live it.
"You can never imagine how physically demanding it is, but once you have realised it on the field, you have to adapt quickly to help the team.
"For example Chelsea, they are so fast ... If you have the slightest concentration error, they will make you pay for it."
Llorente added: "I started the season with Real Sociedad and was focused on the team, but also listening to possible offers. There were other offers before Leeds, but I met with Víctor Orta and he told me how my characteristics as a player could help, what could I bring to Leeds, and also what Leeds could give me to help me grow. I didn't have to think twice."
