Marcos Llorente feels he's proved his commitment to Atletico Madrid.

Llorente was a controversial signing from Real Madrid last summer, but has proved his total commitment to Atleti - particularly after his performance in their Champions League defeat of Liverpool.

"I give everything I have every time I wear this shirt, in every training session, ... My commitment is total, I think I have shown it. From there, I will always respect what everyone thinks," he said.

"I'm very happy. The treatment I have received since I arrived has been impeccable, both from the club and from the fans. I am sure we still have great moments to live."

Llorente also said of their famous win at Anfield before the coronavirus shutdown: "Faith is part of the DNA of this club. You always have to believe."
