Derek Llambias is being lined up for a return to Newcastle United.

The Sunday Express says Toon owner Mike Ashley, who hasn't attended a home game since September, is considering bringing his former managing director Llambias back to the club.

The pair fell out but the rift has been healed and Ashley feels Llambias could help in future decisions.
